Tree at Night

Writing this book nearly destroyed the very fabric of my being.

I had no choice but to tell my story, to help myself, and to help future generations.

I am a survivor.

Abandoned at birth by his mother and neglected by his father, this is a story of survival and the perseverance of a young child who is severely beaten, starved and enslaved...and that’s just the beginning.

Running away from home at just 12 years old, follow along as Skippy takes you on his challenging journey of growing up and becoming a man.

'A heart wrenching journey that educates and inspires. Skippy is a beautiful human being who is incredibly brave for sharing his story. The story is very well written, putting the imagery right in front of your mind's eye. You will never forget reading this book.'

Cool Story Bro _ Hatrick Swayze (1)_edit

Skippy

Penning this memoir proved to be a real rollercoaster of emotions. Initially the process felt cathartic, however as the pages unfolded, a deep sense of isolation crept in, casting a shadow over the narrative. I found myself confronting demons long buried, grappling with the solitude that accompanies such introspection. Yet, amidst the solitude, there emerged a great glimmer of understanding; a realization that in sharing my story, I am not alone, but rather connected to others who have walked similar paths of suffering and redemption.
